Open 24 hours everyday, the restaurant is always jam packed with a large crowd during supper time, all the way into the wee hours of the morning. Pelita serves excellent Nasi Kandar (plain white rice with a selection of dishes). Make sure your rice is mixed with a few choices of curry for the ultimate taste of nasi kandar. Another local favourite is their fried noodles, and when topped with a nice telur mata kerbau (bull’s eye egg), the dish is divine. |

Spacious and well-lit, Lotus is always brimming with energy and crowds all day long. Sample their delicious nasi kandar, nasi lemak and an assortment of breads, fried noodles and rice. Apart from also being a nice place to hangout, its also a great place try one of the local must-try drinks - teh tarik (sweet milk tea, made using a special “pulled” technique).
